Training, Meetings, and Events Calendar

The calendar of events includes not only posse events, but also events and outings for many local organizations and local riding areas such as Five Flags Arabian Horse Association and Coldwater State Park.  If you would like to have your event added to our calendar, please send the event details to posseinfo@srsmountedposse.com

Training Presentation by Cindy Sheldon

 
     

General posse training is conducted twice a month.  It is usually held at the East Milton Recreation Arena on the second Sunday and third Saturday of each month.  Training is conducted by posse trainers, Juliana Horn (Training Director) and Don Leland.  Training usually consists of equatation exercises and drills, formation drills, obstacle training and desensitization training.  Observers and prospective members are welcome to all general posse training sessions.
